Have you ever wondered how beer is made? Buy you tickets to visit the Estrella Damm Factory and know everything what you always wanted to know about one of the most popular drinks in the world.

A tour about the history, evolution, processing techniques and and taste the authentic Estrella Damm.

Visit the Estrella Damm Factory

The Estrella Damm factory was founded in Barcelona in 1876, its peculiar logo with a five pointed star was so recognizable then that in spite of its name was "Strasburger Bier", it popularised with the name of "la estrella"(the star). More than 100 years later, we know it as Estrella Damm Beer.

Always associated to the "Mediterranean beer", Estrella Damm opens its doors in order to you can visit its factory.

The ticket for the Estrella Damm Factory will allow you to know how the brewers of Estrella Damm take care of each production step, from the field to the factory.

The tour include the brewhouse, fermentation tanks and finally the factory of no return bottles, finally you will be able to enjoy a guided tasting of four beers.

  • Monday 10:30h, individual visits in English.
  • Tuesday 10:30h, individual visits in Spanish.
  • The first Tuesday of each month, in Catalan.

Weekends and festives

  • Saturdays: 10:30h in English, 12:00h in Spanish.
  • Sundays and festives: 10:30 in Catalan, at 11:30 in Spanish, 1230h in Catalan.

Price of the ticket for the Estrella Damm Factory

The price of the ticket to visit the Estrella Damm Factory include a guide who will explain you how the beer is made, from the field to its consume. In addition, this is an accessible visit for everyone, because is adapted for wheelchairs.

Finally, the tickets for free for people between 16 and 18 years old (on weekdays) or people over 10 years o weekends if they go with a legal tutor. People under 18 years old cannot participate in the tasting.

How to arrive

By car:

  1. You can arrive with the Castelldefels Highway (C-31), exit 192, direction to the airport (Terminal 2), after this, join to the B-22, and leave it in the exit B-250-El prat del Llobregat.
  2. Address: Fábrica Estrella Damm, C/ Ronda de Ponent 41, 08820 El Prat de Llobregat.
  3. Parking: Outside the factory, in the industrial estate Mas Mateu.

By public transport:

  • Subway: L9s ( TR airport- university zone). Parc Nou Stop
  • Bus: Line 65, from Plaza España, stop at Once de Septiembre Avenue, El Prat del Llobregat.
